About a minute later, another text message was received:

Lysander turned off the mobile phone and held it in her hand..
Daphne had prepared a long gown for her which had to pockets, so she could only keep holding it.
Daphne asked, “So, do we just wait for Harry to take the bait now?”
Lysander said, “We can’t wait forever. The child in Priscilla’s belly is getting bigger and bigger, and it will be more dangerous to induce labor later. We have to hurry up, and we also need to make other preparations.”

Daphne gave Priscilla a thumbs up. “Well done!”
When Priscilla smiled, she actually looked quite pretty, giving her a very well–behaved and gentle
appearance.
A young girl like her, who should have been enjoying a wonderful romance during the best years of her life, had ended up that way. Who would have known she’d encounter such a scumbag like Harry, who has tormented her to this extent.

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
