Lysander was slightly relieved. “I was afraid that Dr. Ziegler would not be able to accept seeing Priscilla become so haggard. Now, it seems I should have told him earlier.”
“Actually, the timing was just right. You and Daph have already paved the way for the divorce. All Priscilla has to do is follow the process, and it’s only a matter of time before she escapes from he misery. Without what you guys have done, Priscilla would still be entangled by Harry and Helen, unable to free herself. Dr. Ziegler wouldn’t be able to be as tough as he is now.”

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
