“You definitely can, but…” Priscilla’s gaze shifted in Harry’s direction..
“Don’t worry. Since I dared bring him in, I can guarantee he won’t dare cause any trouble,” Josiah
assured.
Somewhat uncertain, Priscilla turned to Lysander.
Josiah attempted to push open the door, but Lysander still blocked the doorway. “What do you mean? Spell things out, please.”
“Are you sure?” Josiah asked.
Suddenly, realization hit Lysander, and she quickly recanted, “No!”
Alas, it was already too late.
The words had already left his lips. “I want to see you.
Lysander stared at him intently. “Why did you bring him if you wanted to see me?”
“Would you talk to me without a reason? These few days, you’ve been avoiding me like a mouse seeing a cat. You’ve stopped showing up at the clinic, and Lynn from the inpatient department said you’ve even stopped handling those patients. I couldn’t even drop by your place and disturb your parents, afraid you might kill me.”
“At least you know that much,” Lysander huffed.
“So, I had no choice but to come and look for you here.” Josiah gave Priscilla a slight nod in gr apologize for the intrusion, Ms. Ziegler.”
Priscilla had some knowledge of Lysander’s involvement with Josiah, but not much.
She could only force a laugh and say, “It’s no intrusion, but…”
“Mr. Molsey came here today to sign the divorce agreement with you,” Josiah said.
Priscilla’s eyes widened. “Really? Didn’t his mom forbid it?”
Harry’s face glowed with joy, his smugness evident in his eyes and the curve of his lips. He cheerfully pulled out the divorce agreement from his bag. “I’ll handle my mom. Priscilla, all you need to do is sign this. You don’t even have to go to the city hall. Mr. Guerra is so nice, offering to have his legal. department deal with our divorce proceedings. If you sign it now, we can get the divorce certificate this
afternoon.
Priscilla looked at Josiah, still somewhat in disbelief.
Josiah gave a slight nod, saying, “I had my legal department draft the divorce agreement. You can sign it with peace of mind.”

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
