“Did you personally witness Lysander entering this cabin?”
“No. However, I did see her coming this way. We’ve already searched the front hall, the deck, and several other cabins. She wasn’t in any of them, so she could only be in this cabin,” Lysanne said.
Rina’s husband, Paulo, had also come over and suggested, “Maybe we should break the door down first. At the very least, we need to ensure the safety of Adrian’s friend.”

Lysanne also seized the opportunity to add, “Exactly. Let’s just barge in first.”
The gaze Adrian cast Lysanne’s way abruptly turned cold. Shortly after, his attention was drawn to the girl standing behind Lysanne. “Who’s this?”
Lysanne’s smile was somewhat unnatural as she took a step forward, positioning the girl behind her. “This is my friend.”
“Your friend?”
“Yes…”
Adrian flashed a cold smile and said, “Perhaps my vision has been failing me lately. At a glance, I thought it was Lysander.”
As soon as these words were spoken, both Rina and Paulo turned their gaze.
Rina gasped in surprise. “She really does look like Lysander! Jane, did you bring a friend today? I didn’t notice her earlier. Why didn’t you bring your new friend to the front hall with us? We’re all friends here. It’s more fun when we’re together.
“S–She was feeling a bit seasick, so I let her rest for a while.”
Just at that moment, with a faint creaking sound, the cabin door was slowly opened.
Rina was overjoyed. “Lysander! Are you all right? Is everything all right? Did something happen? Is there anyone else inside? Jane mentioned that a thief might’ve broken in. Did you get hurt?”

I cant get over the fact that the writer is trying to show as if the male lead has committed a grave sin. First he didnt know she was pregnant because she never told him. Second right from the start she never communicated anything. She was unbothered even during her marriage. I am not saying the male lead is great but atleast he seems like a human with emotions unlike her. And there is no context for why she is so emotionless....
The female lead is not charming but an unbothered b word, there is a very big difference. There is no point of extending this story at all because even if you write 1000+ chapters at 1001 the male lead would still be doing everything for her and she wouldnt bat an eye even if someone killed him. I mean honestly either the start should have been written better where we do understand that she was deeply affected because of her divorce or just STOPPPPP. Even for fiction it is annoying....
