Chapter 398 The Irrelevant Ones

The entire room fell into a profound silence.

Josiah reached out and pulled her phone away, immediately ending the call. Then, he swiftly added. Lysanne’s number to the blacklist.

When he returned her phone, he softly said, “Don’t answer calls from irrelevant people in the future.”

She pushed open the window and positioned herself on the terrace overlooking the valley. The air was somewhat damp, and it was only then that she noticed the gentle drizzle falling outside.

The scent of flowers and fresh soil dominated the air, subtly intertwined with a faint whiff of smoke.
