The Charming Ex-Wife (Lysander and Josiah) novel Chapter 83

Chapter 83 She Is Like How I Remembered Her

“What is this?”

“This is my contact information.”

Aiden flipped the paper over and chuckled. “Whisper!”

Lysander nodded, “Yes.”

“Do you not have a phone number, WhatsApp, or email? Are you really using Whisper to contact friends and colleagues?”

Lysander whispered, “You didn’t specify which contact method you preferred, but I can assure you that if I receive your Whisper, I will definitely reply.”

Aiden was on the verge of exploding with anger.

Josiah was already somewhat accustomed to the arrival of this unexpected guest.

Although Aiden had an older brother, his biological sibling had been studying abroad since a young age and rarely returned to the country.

Growing up. Aiden had followed Josiah closely. Adrian felt more connected to him than to Adrian.

After hearing this, Josiah smiled and shook his head. After years of breaking so many hearts, you have finally met someone who can handle you. Good for you.”

“What’s so good about it? She’s just toying with me!”

Josiah remarked, “Well, she’s not entirely wrong. There is indeed a chance to contact her through Whisper, but it’s just not very high.”

“Not very high? Isn’t it like finding a needle in a haystack? When have I been humiliated like this in front of a woman? Josiah, you have to help me.”

Josiah flipped through the reports brought by several supervisors while responding, “How can I help you, by tying up the girl and sending her to your house?”

“I think it’s possible.”

Josiah glared at him. “Possible my foot! It’s illegal.”

At the mention of “illegal,” Aiden suddenly perked up. “Josiah, you are truly a devoted fan of Lysanne. You know she is a lawyer and you won’t let us do anything wrong.”

Josiah’s pen paused slightly as he signed.

Aiden chuckled. “Come on. We all know that you have feeling

for Lysanne. Josiah, I really envy you.”

“Envy me for what?”

“Envy you for having someone you like. Don’t look at me as having had so many relationships, but none of them truly captured my heart. I really don’t know what it feels like to genuinely like someone.”

Josiah suddenly set down the pen.

Leaning back against the backrest, he gazed intently at Aiden. “Aiden, I have a question for you.”

“Go ahead.”

“Why do you think I like Lysander?”

“Because she’s beautiful, of course.”

“But there are many people in this world who are more beautiful than her. She’s just an ordinary person and with makeup on, she can barely be considered pretty.”

Aiden pondered for a moment and said, “It must be her personality that you like then. Who is Lysander? While others can write poetry in seven steps, she can climb a tree in three steps. Just like a character from a novel, she’s even more formidable than our dean.”

“Her personality is quite strong.”

“She’s not just strong-willed, she’s actually quite assertive,” Aiden said. “Do you remember when she dated Miles in high school?”

“Yeah.”

“Do you know why they broke up?”

Josiah said, “It’s said that they were incompatible in terms of personality? Lysander is strong-willed, while Miles is a bit indecisive.”

“It’s not that,” Aiden whispered. “Let me tell you a secret. Actually, it’s because there were too many people pursuing Lysander. Miles felt like he couldn’t hold on to her, so he became disheartened and broke up with her.”

Josiah was also aware of this.

She always had a lot of male “good friends” around her, which made him jealous.

But Lysander always said that they were just good friends..

However, men understood men the best and no man would want to be just “friends” with a woman. Most of them had feelings for her and wanted to take it further, which was why they always lingered

around her.
