Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia) novel Chapter 345

Chapter 345 Only Keep the Child

"I understand." Elijah got up, came to Cordelia, and held her shoulder. "It's getting late. You should go rest. You have worked hard these two days."

Cordelia looked up at him lightly. "Okay, you go back and have a good rest."

Elijah laughed at himself. "I hope I can fall asleep."

He had hardly closed his eyes these days.

At this moment, Cordelia's cell phone rang, and it was Adam calling.

Elijah stopped and waited for Cordelia.

He wanted to wait for Cordelia to walk him out.

"Cordelia, there is a situation that I need to report to you in time. It's about Imogen."

"Okay, Adam. What happened?" Cordelia said, pulling Elijah out the door.

"Imogen has been suffering from insomnia for the past two days, and she keeps saying that there is a ghost in my house at night. Do you think she needs to see a psychiatrist? I can help her make arrangements."

At this moment, there was a sudden scream from Adam's side.

Then came Adam's hurried footsteps. "Imogen, what's wrong with you? What did you see?"

Immediately afterward, Cordelia heard Adam say, "Imogen's phone wallpaper suddenly turned into a ghost child. Cordelia, someone is tricking Imogen."

Cordelia's eyes turned cold. "Adam, try to appease Imogen first, and I will call you later."

With that said, Cordelia hung up the phone.

Elijah saw that her expression was not very good, so he asked, "What's wrong?"

"You go first. I have something to deal with," Cordelia said, then pulled Elijah towards the door.

"I'll stay and help you," Elijah said with concern.

Cordelia glanced at him. "It's up to you."

After finishing speaking, she left him at the door, turned around, and went upstairs anxiously.

She naturally knew that Elijah was eager to stay around, but she didn't have time to deal with him as long as he didn't hinder her from doing things.

Cordelia went straight to her study, turned on her computer, and logged into an account named Leno.
