Chapter 261: I Am Your Successor

Fixing his eyes on Catherine, Matthew could make no reaction for a few moments. It was the first time he had

seen her dressed like this. She looked so amazing in the ancient costume as if the dress had been exclusively

made for her. And even her image had been changed, from a little witch to a fairy. What’s more, Matthew

thought she looked like Hailey just now. The languid but confident look on her face was the same as that of

Hailey. Looking up and down at Catherine, Elsa was being alert, “Who are you?” Catherine thought for a

moment, ‘You’re his ex-girlfriend while I’m your successor.” What the hell did successor mean? Matthew

twitched his mouth and felt his waist started to hurt again.

Raising her eyebrows, Elsa said, “You look like a teenage. Are you over eighteen? You’re my successor? Aren’t

you ashamed of saying so? Where are your parents? They should take you home.” Catherine slowly raised her

eyelids with a cold look on her face, “I’m sorry to tell you that it’s my place.” Elsa was totally shocked. Peter, in

the same inky-blue gown, walked towards them as he heard the noise. He was indescribably dashing”What’s

going on here?” Peter came over and naturally placed himself in front of Catherine.

Catherine said in a bland voice, “She is causing a scene. Kick her out. She needs a doctor, but we won’t give her

treatment.” Catherine grabbed Matthew by his neck and dragged him in after saying so. Matthew shouted, “Hey.

come on. Be gentle to me. My waist hurts.” When Matthew was lying on the bed, he felt like he was the fish

meat on the chopping board, pathetic and helpless, Matthew was asked to take off his top, revealing his

muscular upper body which was perfect. The only flaw would be the scars on his back. However, the pair of

sphenoid bones on Matthew’s back was extremely beautiful and they were trembling with fear now, like the real

wings of a butterfly.

Staring at Catherine who was fiddling with the silver needles, Matthew was hemming and hawing, “I mean,

Catherine…Could you let Peter take care of me? I guess there’s no big problem with my waist, so you don’t need

to cure me in person..” Catherine was preparing her silver needles with no expression on her face, saying in a

bland tone, “Peter is fully occupied now, so he doesn’t have time to take care of you. It’s really not a big problem

with your waist, which can be solved with a few needles. I can handle it by myself, so don’t bother Peter.” “How come Catherine can’t get my point?’ Matthew thought to himself. Matthew was about to break down and

tried to convince Catherine, “First of all, I do trust you…I mean…I guess I don’t actually need to accept

acupuncture therapy. I’ll be fine after doing some exercises myself. I mean it. Catherine raised her black eyes

to look at Matthew, “Matthew, are you afraid of acupuncture needles?” Matthew was thinking loud, ‘What I’m

afraid of isn’t the acupuncture needles but you.’ However, Matthew was worried that he would hurt the

confidence of Catherine if he were to tell her the truth. Matthew made up his mind to accept acupuncture

therapy from Catherine. His waist hurt and it couldn’t be worse taking several acupuncture needles. Perhaps

that would be a blessing in disguise for him.

Matthew stopped struggling after putting himself together. “Okay. Go ahead.” He was acting like a hero who

was gonna die for his career. Catherine never doubted her own medical skills, only to feel Matthew

faint-hearted. “Matthew, rest assured. I’ll do it fast and you won’t feel the pain.” Matthew now felt as if his head
