The Charming Ex-Wife (Lysander and Josiah) novel Chapter 320

hapter 320 Did You Teach Him That

The surrounding stench of fish and shrimp grew increasingly potent.

The scent overwhelmed Lysander, causing her to sneeze.

The sound of her sneeze startled the two people outside. The orange-red glow of a cigarette end gradually drew closer. Following that, there was a sudden intense jostling beneath them, accompanied by the sound of footsteps on the wooden planks.

Suddenly, the surroundings lit up.

Lysander’s eyes struggled to adjust to the blinding light, causing her to shut them abruptly,

“Awake, are you?” Harry was crouched in front of her, smirking maliciously. “She’s more attractive than Lysanne,”

Lysander strived to adjust to such lighting quickly, slowly lifting her head.

Indeed, she found herself in a dilapidated ship cabin. Fishing tools and equipment were haphazardly strewn about. The floor beneath her was a mix of seawater and the foul runoff from rotting seafood, which had soaked her skirt thoroughly. The grimy liquid clung to her skin, making her feel sticky all

over.

A gust of cold wind blew, leaving a chilling and nauseating sensation on her.

Suddenly, a searing sting radiated from her neck, and she cried out in surprise.

Harry was still clutching the burning cigarette butt in his hand before retracting it with a hearty laugh.

Zachary advised, “Harry, don’t do pointless things.

“Don’t worry, I was just trying to scare her a bit,” Harry continued with his sardonic laughter. “Lysander, Dr. Thorne, my old classmate, from our school days till now, you always carry this aloof demeanor. So, you do know what pain feels like?”

There must have been a burn on her neck, causing an intense, piercing pain.

Lysander was simply unable to touch anything as her hands were bound.

She glanced at Harry, then shifted her gaze to Zachary

Zachary was still dressed in a crisp suit, his hair meticulously groomed, clearly indicating he had just come from a very formal event.

As for Harry, he was only wearing a grimy, worn-out T-shirt, his jeans covered in filth. His appearance was disheveled, his hands smeared with grime.

Even the cigarette he held between his fingers had taken on a layer of ashen gray.
