Chapter 106 A New Way 

Cordelia screenshotted the photo and sent it to Imogen. 

“Looks like Ben is getting some use out of his backup status.” 

Not long after, Imogen replied with a voice message. 

“Haha, that bastard was in my bed yesterday, saying he loves me. And now, he went to the woman he had always longed for. Can’t trust men when they’re in bed, huh?” 

Cordelia couldn’t help but feel sorry for Imogen. 

She knew that beneath Imogen’s carefree look, she must be hurting. 

A moment later, Imogen sent another voice message. 

“It’s clear that Elissa is panicking. Otherwise, why would she choose to stay with Ben at this moment?” 

Cordelia thought the same thing. 

The photo incident was something Mary had done. And now, with Ben as her shield, Elissa believed Elijah wouldn’t do anything to her. 

As for how Elijah intended to deal with the situation, Cordelia hadn’t given it much thought.

“Milo, I can’t drink coffee,” Cordelia said as she picked up the pot and poured a cup for Milo. 

Milo frowned. “Why not?” 

Cordelia smiled bitterly and showed her wrist to Milo. 

Milo understood her message and had a good guess about the reason. However, he still sighed deeply after checking, “Girl, what are you going to do?” 

Cordelia’s eyes teared up as she replied, “I don’t know, Milo. But no matter what, I want to keep this child.” 

Milo contemplated for a moment before speaking, “I’ve heard that Gideon, the head of the Hansen family, values bloodlines a lot and is quite stubborn. Your situation might be challenging.” 

Cordelia understood this very well.
