Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia) novel Chapter 176

Chapter 176 Went to the Courthouse

The next morning, Cordelia woke up.

She was lying on the bed, staring blankly at the bed curtain, and didn't come back to her senses for a long time.

She had been discharged from the hospital and lived with Milo.

And Elijah was no longer by her side.

She sat up slowly, still feeling very tired.

The severe trauma made her unable to exercise for a long time, so her body was not as strong as before.

Turning on the phone, she was relieved after finding there were no new messages.

It seemed even reading Elijah's message required courage for her now.

She washed up briefly, put on her makeup seriously, had breakfast with Milo, and was about to leave.

"Go, Cordelia. I'll wait for you at home." Milo smiled kindly and didn't say anything else.

He didn't want to intervene in Cordelia's relationship and wanted her to solve it by herself.

Cordelia smiled sweetly at Milo and felt less pressured while going out.

As soon as she went out, she saw a familiar SUV parked at the door.

Adam greeted her with a smile. "Eason was supposed to be your full-time driver today. Unfortunately, he has something urgent and went back to Grant City, so he sent me to be your driver."

Cordelia nodded politely. "You guys are really thoughtful. Thank you, Adam."

At exactly nine o'clock, Cordelia and Elijah arrived at the Courthouse.

From a distance, Cordelia saw Elijah getting out of the car.

Even though he looked dispirited and had dark circles under his eyes, he still had an imposing manner while walking.

Cordelia lowered her eyes and looked down at the tip of her shoe, trying to evade his gaze.

"Let's go in." Elijah reminded her in a cold tone and stepped into the gate first.

Cordelia breathed a sigh of relief and gestured to Adam, who was waiting in the car.

Adam nodded quickly. Then, he took out his phone with a smile and sent a voice message to Eason.
