Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia) novel Chapter 43

Chapter 43 I Want to Support You!

Evie was the name given to her by Milo after Cordelia became his apprentice.

Elijah was stunned for a moment, then immediately came back to his senses. He politely pleased

her to enter.

Seeing that Elijah brought Cordelia back again, Eva looked unhappy.

“Elijah…”

“Eva, this is Miss Carter,” Elijah introduced.

“What?” Eva’s eyes widened, and she looked at Cordelia incredulously. “Cordelia, you don’t need to be like this. The apprentice of the master of alternative medicine, not just anyone can pretend to be.”

“If it weren’t for Milo’s order, do you think I want to come?”

Cordelia had tried her best to control her temper, but she still couldn’t help it now.

She didn’t even want to look at Eva, and she looked directly at Elijah. “Since Miss Lewis doesn’t trust me, I’ll let it go!”

Elijah squeezed the center of his eyebrows and said hastily, “Eva just didn’t know that Mr. Carter’s apprentice was you. It is not that she didn’

trust you.”

Cordelia looked at the two people in front of her coldly. One was keeping affectation, and the other. was unconditionally mollycoddling. They were well suited to each other.

“Okay. Just tell me whether you want me to check your legs out. Please hurry up. My time is precious, and I don’t have time to spend here with you,” Cordelia said impatiently.

“No!” Eva blurted out.

“Yes!” Elijah’s voice was higher than hers, and he said firmly.

Cordelia suddenly laughed. “You two are humorous.”

After speaking, Cordelia stood up and left.

“Eva, you are too nonsense!” Elijah gave Eva a cold look, stood up, and chased after Cordelia.

Eva’s voice came from behind Elijah with a crying voice. “I would rather not stand up for the rest of my life than Cordelia to treat for me!”

Elijah didn’t care about taking care of Eva’s emotions at all, and he chased downstairs and grabbed Cordelia.

“Let go,” Cordelia said coldly.

“I’m sorry,” Elijah immediately restrained his evil spirit and said with a correct attitude, “Cordelia, don’t go.”

“Mr. Hansen, since you have spent so much finding Milo, you should know the rules of our business. We can’t do it if the patient is unwilling,” Cordelia said seriously, with a businesslike

attitude.

“I understand. I will persuade Eva to accept it. Please give us another chance,” Elijah said sincerely.

Cordelia smiled coldly. “Depend on my mood!”

After saying these words, Cordelia left without hesitation.

Elijah looked at her handsome back. And his gaze was as deep as the sea, as if it contained various

emotions.

“Cordelia, Evie…”
