Reborn to Revenge novel Chapter 58

Antony looked pale, and he stood there straightly. It seemed that he wanted to say something, but as soon as he approached, Jocelyn retreated as if she saw a ghost.

It made him look sad.

"I see."

At this time, in the banquet hall, people toasted each other.

Julia came angrily with a red and swollen half face, bumping into many people all the way, and arousing many people's discontent.

Monica was happily talking with the family members of several presidents. Suddenly, a sharp pain hit her. She screamed and was pulled and had to turn around.

And suddenly she was slapped.

"Ah!" She shrieked and dodged.

Julia grabbed her hair and slapped on her again. Everyone around her looked shocked.

"Why?"

"How can you beat others?"

"I heard she is the second daughter of Morrison family? Doesn't she have a close relationship with Judd family?

"..."

When they were discussing, Stan rushed over and pulled apart the two women. "What's the matter? Julia, how can you hit Monica?"

Monica cried in Stan's arms and almost died of crying. "I was just talking to several ladies, and she suddenly rushed over and scolded me. Stan, fortunately, you have come, otherwise our child..."

The child was Stan's weakness. If he did not consider the Morrison family's honour, he would turn hostile on the spot.

"Julia, usually you are capricious. It doesn't matter that Grandpa let me be more tolerant. But we are all brothers ad sisters, how can you hit Monica so terribly. Don't you know that Monica is pregnant? What occasion is it? How can you do that?"

Julia was so angry that she did not know what to say but raised her voice.

"Stan, don't try your best to be close to our family. Why don't you ask your hypocritical wife what the hell she is planing? She have slandered my sister-in-law for having a love affair with others."

There was an uproar all around.

Stan looked grim, and stared at Monica in his arms.

Monica didn't expect that Julia was so crazy that she dared to speak out this ind of thin in front of so many people. So immediately she cried, "I have clearly seen that Jocelyn and a man entered the room. I just kindly reminded you, so as not to lose the Morrison's face. Now even if Morrison family lost face, you can't blame me."

"It's not what you said at all," said Julia angrily. "Monica, you don't carry tales. I have gone to confirm it. There's no such thing at all. There's no man you said. You're slandering out Morrison family's reputation."

"It's impossible," Ann said firmly, "if not, what about Jocelyn?"

Just looking at Julia, Monica was sure that she must have a quarrel with Jocelyn and there must be traces on them. As long as Jocelyn appeared, the people here would discover that.

The atmosphere suddenly froze.
